The Milford Historical Society received a $10,000.00 grant from the History Channel to spend on different ways to teach children that history is being made all around them. After researching and oral histories from Milford residents, Lakeland High School students wrote the history of Henry Ford Village Industries and the Pettibone Creek Powerhouse. The students also created a fictional diary of what life in the 1930’s was like.
